Eurokhan CEO Dr. Oliver Schnorr held a meeting on November 3 with Member of Parliament Ms. Tsenguun Saruulsaikhan to discuss Mongolia’s renewable energy trajectory and policy environment for foreign direct investment.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on accelerating Mongolia’s transition to clean and sustainable energy, strengthening investment conditions, and removing bottlenecks that hinder international companies from entering or expanding operations in the country. Dr. Schnorr highlighted Eurokhan’s long-term commitment to supporting Mongolia’s infrastructure and energy modernization, while MP Tsenguun emphasized the government’s focus on fostering transparent, investor-friendly regulations aligned with national development priorities.


EUROKHAN ATTENDED A MEETING WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF INDIA


Our CEO, Dr. Oliver Schnorr, attended a meeting with H.E. Mr. Atul Malhari Gotsurve, Ambassador of India to Mongolia on November 3rd, to discuss opportunities for cooperation between Indian and Mongolian businesses in the infrastructure and energy sectors. The meeting featured a constructive exchange on how Indian technological expertise and Mongolia’s growing demand for advanced infrastructure solutions can be aligned to accelerate sustainable development. Dr. Schnorr expressed appreciation for Ambassador Gotsurve’s extensive engineering background and his strong commitment to fostering practical, innovation-driven collaboration.

Both sides acknowledged the significant potential for joint projects in energy, power systems, and industrial modernization, and agreed to continue discussions aimed at expanding bilateral business engagement and supporting Mongolia’s long-term development goals.


EUROKHAN ATTENDS DINNER WITH OUR PARTNERS FROM ESPELIA


Eurokhan CEO Dr. Oliver Schnorr and Project Manager Munkh-Erdene B. attended a dinner meeting with a delegation from Espelia, France, to discuss cooperation in sustainable infrastructure and public service development tailored to the needs of Mongolian communities.

The discussion highlighted Eurokhan’s active role in the joint venture between Espelia and Seureca SAS under the Millennium Challenge Account–Mongolia (MCA-M). The consortium is providing consulting services for the development of a comprehensive legal, regulatory, and tariff framework for the use of reclaimed wastewater — a cornerstone initiative aimed at supporting Mongolia’s long-term water security and resource efficiency. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to advancing high-quality, community-focused infrastructure solutions and strengthening cooperation in environmental and public-service modernization.


EUROKHAN ATTENDS LUNCH WITH CHULUUT FLUORSPAR PROCESSING PLANT SHAREHOLDER, MR.UCHRAL


On 13 November, Eurokhan CEO Dr. Oliver Schnorr attended a lunch meeting with Mr. Uchral, shareholder of the Chuluut fluorspar processing plant. The discussion centered on the project’s ongoing development, production outlook, and future cooperation opportunities.

The Chuluut fluorspar project, jointly advanced by Chuluut International LLC and Euro-Khan LLC, involves the mining and processing of fluorspar (calcium fluoride) for export markets. The operation includes a mine at Chuluut Tsagaan Del and a processing plant in Baganuur, originally planned for commissioning in 2021 and subsequently upgraded to double its ore-processing capacity.

The enhanced facility is positioned to deliver higher-value fluorspar concentrate supporting both Mongolia’s industrial output and export competitiveness. The meeting reaffirmed both parties’ commitment to advancing the project’s commercial and operational progress.


EUROKHAN VISITS SAINSHAND WINDFARM


Eurokhan CEO Dr. Oliver Schnorr visited the Sainshand Windfarm on November 19th, one of Mongolia’s most significant renewable energy projects and the country’s second-largest wind park built to international standards. Since commissioning, the windfarm has contributed substantially to Mongolia’s clean-energy transition and regional energy reliability.

Key benefits of the Sainshand Windfarm include:

• Saving approximately 2 million m³ of fresh water annually

  Reducing coal consumption by around 50,000 tons per year

• Enhancing grid reliability along the Choir–Airag–Sainshand–Zamiin Uud corridor

• Capacity to produce 210-250 GW of green electricity each year—enough to power more than 100,000 households

• Preventing the release of approximately 200,000 tons of CO emissions annually

In addition to its environmental contributions, the project also plays a meaningful socioeconomic role. More than 400 jobs were created during the construction phase, and 30–40 permanent positions continue to support operations and maintenance. Dr. Schnorr reaffirmed Eurokhan’s commitment to supporting large-scale renewable energy developments that strengthen Mongolia’s sustainable growth and energy independence.


EUROKHAN ATTENDS “NETWORK FOR LEADER VOL.4” ORGANIZED BY MONGOLIA TALENT NETWORK


Eurokhan’s Chief Growth Officer Ankhmanlai Jargalsaikhan and Hea of Operations Batnasan Chinbat attended the “Network for Leaders” event organized by Mongolia Talent Network (MTN). Held on 19 November 2025 in partnership with the Business Council of Mongolia (BCM), the exclusive gathering brought together senior executives, founders, and industry leaders shaping Mongolia’s evolving business landscape.

The evening served as a platform for meaningful dialogue and high-value networking, with discussions centered on leadership, talent development, and the future of work in Mongolia’s rapidly modernizing economy. Participants exchanged insights on organizational transformation, workforce retention, and leadership capabilities required to navigate the coming decade.

Our CEO Dr. Oliver Schnorr attended the Investor Information Session organized on November 27th, by the Investment and Trade Agency, an event designed to provide foreign investors with clear guidance on operating and expanding their businesses in Mongolia. Participants had the opportunity to engage directly with government representatives, raise practical questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the policies, resources, and institutional support available to international businesses operating in the country. Eurokhan acknowledges the importance of such platforms in strengthening transparency, improving investor confidence, and enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors.


EUROKHAN ATTENDS MEETING WITH DELEGATION OF EUROPEAN UNION TO MONGOLIA


Eurokhan CEO, Dr. Oliver Schnorr, participated in a high-level meeting with H.E. Ms. Ina Marciulionytė, Ambassador and Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Mongolia. The discussions held on November 28th, focused on strengthening cooperation to attract and facilitate foreign direct investment (FDI) into Mongolia’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector. Dr. Schnorr highlighted Eurokhan’s active role in advancing sustainable infrastructure and emphasized the importance of EU support in accelerating clean energy deployment across Mongolia.
